Eleven more deaths from COVID-19 have been reported, as well as 390 new cases of the virus.
Of the 11 deaths, four occurred in April, two in March, four in February and one in January. This brings the total number of deaths in the Republic to 4,847.
Of the 403 new cases, 172 occurred in Dublin, 42 in Kildare, 21 in Meath, 20 in Tipperary and 18 in Donegal. The total number of cases now stands at 244,297.
